Matt Masci

DIRECTOR OF SAFETY & SECURITY

Matt Masci was born and raised in Alden, NY, a small rural town he relates to being very similar to Perry. Even as a student at Alden High School, Masci was always involved in planning and executing special events held in the District. While in College, he would also go on to work as a Technology Integrator at ACS assisting educators with delivering enhanced lessons designed to reflect 21st Century Learning skills while also running an in-house Cable Access TV Studio in conjunction with the Multimedia Production program. He advised several clubs and classes including being the Theatre program Advisor and Director from 2011-2020. Masci has also worked seasonally at Six Flags Darien Lake since 2008 in roles ranging from Training Supervisor, Safety Supervisor, and more.

In 2019, Masci began his career in Law Enforcement attending the 31st Rural Police Training Academy part time, while maintaining full time employment. Masci was hired by the Perry Police Department in 2019 and served as the Perry Central School District's full-time contracted School Resource Officer until November 2023. Now, while working as the Director of Safety & Security at PCS, Officer Masci maintains employment as a Police Officer at the Mount Morris Police Department and enjoys being able to make connections and experience the best of both careers.
