The Valedictorian of the Class 2024 is Zachary Narowski, the son of Eric and Christine Narowski. Zac plans to attend the Rochester Institute of Technology as he pursues a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. While enrolled in Genesee Community College’s Accelerated College Enrollment program, Zac earned 96 college credits and graduates high school with an associate degree in Natural Sciences. From PCS, Zac has earned an Advanced Regents with Honors Diploma – Mastery in Math and Science. During his tenure at PCS, Zac served as a captain in soccer, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field. He was class president and vice president of FBLA. He also participated in National Honor Society, Prom Committee, and Music Club. As a junior, Zac traveled to Washington, D.C. with the Close Up program. He is an altar server at church, and volunteered at events like the Chalk Art Festival, Perry Clean Sweep, and Rake, Rattle and Roll. He also served on the Section V Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Athletically, Zac has earned a Section V Class B4 Pole Vault championship. He was named an LCAA All-Star in track and field and soccer. He also earned the Rochester Winter All-League Award. Zac earned the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award, the Clarkson Leadership Award, the Rochester Institute of Technology Science and Math Award, the 2023-24 Winter Student Athlete Scholarship, and the Noyes Health Auxiliary Scholarship. He was also named Teen of the Week by “The Daily News.”
The Class of 2024 Salutatorian is Harley Wolfanger, the daughter of Colleen Klein and step-daughter of Adam Marquart. She plans to attend Cornell University in the fall to study Animal Science. Harley has taken advantage of Perry’s partnership with Genesee Community College through the Accelerated College Enrollment program and will graduate with 54 college credits. Harley will also graduate PCS with an Advanced Regents Diploma. As an active member of the PCS student body, Harley has participated in varsity track and field, Student Government, National Honor Society, Yearbook Club, FBLA, and Drama Club. Harley has emerged as a leader in the PCS agriculture program, serving as the Perry FFA president. She earned her FFA Empire Degree, the highest honor a member can receive at the state level. In 2020, alongside her sister, Harley started her own cut flower business called Silverlake Sunnies, which includes growing and selling sunflowers out of a roadside stand each summer. As a young entrepreneur, Harley has received several awards and is proud to advocate for other young women throughout the state. She is a 12-year member of her 4-H club, and shows dairy cattle at Wyoming County Fair each year. She received the Perry Rotary Scholarship, was named a Community All-Star by “Business First,” and was named a Young Woman of Distinction finalist by the Women’s Council.
Courtney Westfall, daughter of Julius and Dawn Westfall, is ranked third in the Class of 2024. She plans to attend St. Bonaventure University to study Inclusive Childhood Education, concentrating in Math, Science, and Technology. While at PCS, Courtney participated in FFA, Yearbook Club, National Honor Society, Prom Committee, soccer, and indoor and outdoor track and field. She served on the Section V Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and volunteered at the Perry Literacy Center. As a young leader in agriculture, Courtney earned an FFA Empire Degree, the highest honor at the state level. Courtney has been awarded the Bonnie Scholarship and the Perry Rotary Scholarship. She was named a Community Wellness All-Star by “Business First,” an LCAA Exceptional Senior, and an LCAA All-Star. In high school, Courtney earned 54 college credits while enrolled in the ACE program at GCC. She earned an Advanced Regents Diploma – Mastery in Math from PCS.
Representing the senior class in the fourth-ranked position is Bryce Tallman, who will attend St. John Fisher University to study Business Marketing and Professional Sales. Bryce earned the Section V Football Scholarship, the NFF Gold Scholarship, the Perry Rotary Scholarship, the St. John Fisher Service Scholarship and Honors Scholarship, the Bruce Johnson Memorial Scholarship, the Rochester Institute of Technology Leadership Award, the University of Rochester Award, and the Fredrick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award. As an active member of the PCS student body, Bryce participated in varsity basketball, baseball and football, National Honor Society, and Wyoming County Leadership Academy. He served as president of FBLA and Student Government, and was a class officer. As a junior, Bryce traveled to Washington, D.C. with the Close Up program. He also served on the Section V Student Athlete Advisory Committee. He volunteered his time at events like the Special Olympics, and played on the unified bowling team. While enrolled in the ACE program at GCC, Bryce earned 44 college credits. He also graduates from PCS with an Advanced Regents Diploma – Mastery in Math. Bryce is the son of Kyle and Stefanie Tallman.
Jan Parker, the fifth-ranked student in the Class of 2024, will attend Case Western Reserve University to study Economics. He will graduate from PCS with an Advanced Regents Diploma – Mastery in Math, and earned 72 college credits while enrolled in GCC’s ACE program. Jan earned the Attorney General Triple C Award, the College Board National Rural and Small Towns Recognition Award, and the Yellowjacket Award. During his tenure at PCS, Jan participated in varsity golf, Tech Club, Youth Court, Drama Club, and National Honor Society. He also served as a representative for the American Legion Boys State. Jan is the son of Amanda Parker and the late Calvin Parker.
Emma Gifford, the daughter of Toby and Laura Gifford, is in the sixth-ranked position. While at PCS, Emma participated in Art Club, National Honor Society, volleyball, and track and field. At graduation, Emma will receive an Advanced Regents Diploma. While enrolled in GCC’s ACE program, Emma earned 49 college credits. She earned the Arts Council for Wyoming County’s Youth Visual Arts Scholarship and the Keuka College Board of Trustees Scholarship. In spring 2024, Emma opened her first solo art exhibition called “Variations” at the ACWC in Perry. Emma plans to attend Keuka College to study Art and Design.
Parker Vinyard, the seventh-ranked senior, will attend the Eastman School of Music to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Drum Set Performance. He was the recipient of a $168,000 merit scholarship from Eastman School of Music, and also received the 2023 George Eastman Young Leaders Award. This High Honor Roll student and avid drummer has been a member of Band since fifth grade. At PCS, Parker also participated in modified and varsity track and field, where he was selected as a D-II LCAA All-Star last year. He also participated in Chorus and Jazz Band. Parker’s passion for music led him to Berklee College of Music in Boston last summer to participate in a five-week music program. He also enjoys serving in the music ministry at The City Church and volunteering in their food giveaways. While enrolled in the ACE program at GCC, Parker, who earned an Advanced Regents Diploma at PCS, also earned 27 college credits. Parker is the son of Steve and Amy Vinyard.
Representing the Class of 2024 in the eighth-ranked position is Ana-Belle Rojas-Figoura. She earned the Dean’s Scholarship at Daemen University, where she will attend college in the fall to study Nursing. While at PCS, Ana-Belle participated in volleyball, Art Club, Page Turners, National Junior Honor Society, and National Honor Society. She volunteered her time at the Community Clothes Closet, at Perry Rotary events, and at Rake, Rattle and Roll. While enrolled in the ACE program at GCC, Ana-Belle earned 37 college credits in high school. She has earned an Advanced Regents Diploma from PCS. Ana-Belle is the daughter of Cheryl Figoura, and Dennis and Robin Vergason.
Natalie Jaques, graduating in the ninth-ranked position, will attend SUNY Fredonia to study Instrumental Music Education. She aspires to become a school band director and music teacher. Natalie has been active in Perry Central’s music program, participating in Band, Jazz Band, Chorus, Select Chorus, NYSSMA Solo Festival, All-County Band, and All-County Jazz Band. In addition, Natalie participated in FBLA, soccer, swim, tennis, riflery, Music Club, National Junior Honor Society, National Honor Society, Page Turners, Prom Committee, Stand Up Club, and Varsity Club. She served as class treasurer, and attended the Student Leadership Conference. As an active member of the PCS Drama Club, Natalie served as president and assistant stage manager, and performed in the Spotlight Cabaret shows. Natalie is a member of Varsity Club’s 1,000-Points Club. She volunteered at events like Rake, Rattle and Roll, and Perry Rotary Shows. Natalie, the daughter of Jean-Paul Jaques and Crystal Jaques, earned Keuka College’s George H. Ball Award. While enrolled in the ACE program at GCC, Natalie, who has earned an Advanced Regents Diploma from PCS, also earned 56 college credits.
Rounding out the Top Ten is Ethan Clester, the son of Eric Clester and Kristin Wentworth. Ethan has earned an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors – Mastery in Math from PCS. While enrolled in the ACE program at GCC, Ethan earned 53 college credits in high school. As an active member of the student body, Ethan participated in tennis, riflery, Stand Up Club, National Honor Society, Drama Club’s musical and cabaret productions, Band, Chorus, Jazz Band, Select Chorus, Yearbook Club, Page Turners, and All-County Band and Chorus. He volunteered at the Arts and Crafts Show and Rake, Rattle and Roll. Ethan plans to study Psychology at Daemen University.
